Egypt - جمهورية مصر العربية

مصر، دولة تقع في شمال شرق إفريقيا، وتعد من أقدم الحضارات في العالم. تمثل مصر واحدة من أبرز الدول العربية والإفريقية، ولها تأثير ثقافي وتاريخي كبير. حصلت على استقلالها الرسمي عن المملكة المتحدة في 28 فبراير 1922، وأعلنت جمهورية في 18 يونيو 1953. تُعرف مصر بحضارتها الفرعونية العريقة، والتي تركت إرثًا تاريخيًا هائلًا، بما في ذلك الأهرامات وأبو الهول ومعبد الكرنك. اسم "مصر" له جذور قديمة، ويعتقد أنه مشتق من الاسم المصري القديم "مِزْر" أو الاسم القبطي "إيجيبتوس"، الذي أُخذ منه الاسم الإنجليزي "Egypt". أما الاسم العربي "مصر"، فهو مستخدم منذ العصور الإسلامية الأولى.

عاصمة مصر هي القاهرة، وهي أكبر مدينة في البلاد وتعد مركزًا ثقافيًا وسياسيًا واقتصاديًا مهمًا. تتميز مصر بموقعها الاستراتيجي، حيث يمر من خلالها قناة السويس، التي تربط بين البحرين الأحمر والمتوسط، مما يجعلها نقطة تجارية حيوية عالميًا. التأثيرات الإسلامية والعربية واضحة في العمارة والثقافة المصرية، كما أن مصر شهدت امتزاجًا ثقافيًا عبر العصور، من الفراعنة إلى الإغريق والرومان والعرب والعثمانيين
